Trivia

  • ‍The song that Beth sings at karaoke is the same song that Abi Kahn sings in the "Fifteen Million Merits" episode. The song is "Anyone Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand)", recorded by Irma Thomas in 1964.
  • When Joe is flipping through channels on the television, the first program is the talent competition show "Hot Shot" from the episode entitled "Fifteen Million Merits".
  • The pregnancy test Potter removes from the trash bin is the same model used by Martha in the first episode of this season entitled, "Be Right Back".
  • One of the people watching Harry's attempt to pick up Jennifer had the username 'I_AM_WALDO'. Waldo was the main character in the previous episode of Black Mirror.
  • The first guess Potter (Rafe Spall) makes about Matt's (Jon Hamm) occupation is a marketing person. This is a reference to Jon Hamm's character in Mad Men, who works at an advertising agency.
  • When Potter walks over to the mirror at the start he turns the light on and walks out of the room, meaning that 'The lights are on, but nobody is home' referring to the end of the episode.
  • When Matt is telling about his wife blocking him, the technology is very similar to the technology being used in the episode The Entire History of You from season 1.
  • Oona Chaplin and Natalia Tena played the roles of Talisa and Osha respectively in Game of Thrones (2011).
  • One of the date watcher's usernames is PIE APE. This was an insult for the yellow suits from Season 1, Episode 2, "15 Million Merits."
  • Jon Hamm and Rafe Spall share the same birthday, March 10th.
